My journey as a professional video editor pretty much started with MasterCraft. I was given the opportunity to create very simple “one-shot” videos to be posted on instagram when Reels first started. I began with one shot, I progressed to two, then kept going until those edits you see now. My hope was for MasterCraft to become the standard of marketing in its industry. To appeal to more than just boat owners and grow the brand to people who never even considered owning a boat. If you compare the digital marketing of all towboat brands, you’d find that the second best is still pretty far behind. My greatest accomplishment is how I overcame my lack of personal connection to the world of waterspouts. I never grew up on a lake, my parents never owned a boat and I myself can’t even wake surf. But I learned about every facet of the watersports industry, became obsessed with a world that I was never truly interested in. While doing so, I managed to create some of the best wake boat marketing material out there.
